Gablespace Professional Loft Conversions was founded by brothers Peter and John Harvey. Peter and John have over 30 years experience in the building and construction industry and have specialized in loft conversions for the past 15 years.
Peter, a qualified Architect, and John, a Structural Engineer, have between them designed and patented unique structural systems which make our loft conversions more standard and repeatable.
What does that mean to you? Well, a repeatable process means that our construction teams do not have to face new and challenging designs every time they convert a loft. The basic supporting structure is always similar and so they follow a process with which they are familiar and hence there is less room for error.
A repeatable process also makes it easier for building inspectors to understand and feel comfortable with the design. They have seen it before and this can ease the building regulation process.
It should also give you peace of mind. We use a proven, patented process to convert your loft. One that has been used to convert literally hundreds of lofts before.
Converting a loft is a complex process. All loft conversions should be monitored and approved to meet current building regulations by your local authority or an approved building inspector. This is one area where you should not try to take short cuts. After all, your home is probably your biggest asset and a properly designed and constructed loft conversion will add value to it. |
